Instead of taking the boys shopping this morning we dropped Kelly off and went to Macca’s to fool around in their play area for an hour. Whilst this sounds like a regular day to some it was exciting in that Luc ventured from the safety of terra-firma to the dizzying heights of steps, tunnels and all that Ronald had to offer for the first time.

It was funny in fact. He’d never really been that interested in joining Ben inside those sorts of play areas but today there was no stopping him. josh wjkgh wjkhg wjkbhw kjwhb wkjbh wrkjbh wrjkbh rwbh rwkjbh rwkjbh wrkj.b wrkjbh wrkjb rwkjb wrkjb jkwrhb kwjrbh krwhb krwjbh rkwjb rwkjb rwkjbh rwkjrbh rwkjrbh rwkjb krwjb .

We were back to the apartment for lunch and one of the most anticipated meetings of our short time here. So anticipated was this meeting that I had to busy myself continually this week to stop me from fidgeting in my chair until now.  It wasn’t Brett Favre and it wasn’t Bob Harlan. It was..........wait for it..........THE CABLE GUY! (Yes, for those who have followed this site from day one, I just used an exclamation mark.) This was exciting.

Since leaving the hotel on Saturday we have been without a fixed phone, a TV with more than 5 channels and low and behold, the internet. Thankfully, when you’re in a brand new place on the other side of the world it is easy to find distractions. We now have lightening fast internet, 150 something channels on the tele and a phone connection just waiting for a phone to be hooked into it. We feel like we are connected again.

To celebrate, after sorting email, internet and a workspace that is, we were off to Curly’s at Lambeau for a bit more running around and coin operated gaming fun. We joked before that if Kelly and I were to come back from the other side one day we’d like to come back as these kids. Macca’s in the morning, Curly’s in the afternoon and 150 TV channels in between.

We’re off to Madison tomorrow to see the Badgers as the Packers aren’t playing this week. This will officially be Kel’s last game barring a miracle so here’s hoping the UW band rock her socks off. After all, it was the band that made her decide to come not the football. To quote my lovely wife, “The band should be good but having to wait 3 hours (until after the game) for the entertainment to begin will be the difficult part”.
