Boys and Their Toys

I know i’ve said it more than once but the last few weeks have been a total whirlwind. The days are going by faster than ever and before i know it we’ve fallen 5 days behind. I must say though, with Denver and KC behind us it’s nice to spend some family time doing family things without anywhere else to be.

We started this morning with radio interviews in Iowa, “The Two Dorks” on 96.9 to be exact and California, “KTYD” in San Bernadino. I can’t believe our story is reaching the extremes that it is. Last week we interviewed with “MMM” in Brisbane and did other calls with journalists in Australia, Los Angeles and here in Wisconsin.

We love what we’re doing here, the friends we’ve made and the sights we’re seeing. It truly is a once in a lifetime trip. (How many times have I said that now?)

Apart from that we went to our new favourite destination, Toys ‘R’ Us to give Ben some much needed play time. He’s decided that anytime is toy shop time and has taken to carrying their catalogue in the car with him so he can peruse it whenever the need arises. It’s very cute. He keeps it next to his seat in the truck, kind of like keeping the newspaper by the toilet, for those so inclined of course.

Outside of that the afternoon and evening was filled with trying to put together the remainder of what happened in KC for the website and YouTube. I think the enormity of it all is starting to catch up with me. Thank goodness it’s a barrel of laughs along the way.
