What to Pack?

With less than two weeks now before we depart we began to consider the different things that we’ll need for six months away. And by ‘different things’ I mean there are a ton of different things that we’ll need.

To begin with I’m focussing on the electronics. That is to say, anything we can take to keep two under three-year olds entertained for the longest flights of the lives and the coldest six months for any of us.

From there we started to consider everything else we needed, to keep the boys entertained at least. How may toys? Which toys? Can we drop some of the larger toys for smaller toys? That sort of thing. We began to think too about whether we head out and buy winter clothes for them or simply wait until the cold starts to hit and then go shopping locally to take care of them. Being that Wisconsin was the epicenter of freezing cold winters and that Sydney winters don’t get any lower than 50F at worst we decided to wait until we were actually in Green Bay before we started to worry too much about it.
