More Planning

We’ve used most of this week to continue sorting out our flights and accommodation. I’m surprised how difficult it is to arrange 115 consecutive nights accommodation in Green Bay. I shouldn’t be when I think about it, I mean it’s a town that I’ve never been to with hotels I’ve never seen on street names I’ve never heard of in suburbs that are all new to us. From the get go I shouldn’t have known that this was a monumental task. Lucky for us we approach most thing in life with ‘can do’ attitude first and foremost.

This week, despite my deep advocacy for the Internet I have learned that it isn’t the “be all and end of all” of information as it’s often cracked up to be. Websites are funny in that they are only as good as the information uploaded to them and I am learning through this experience that in alot of cases, this isn’t much. For the little things in life, that doesn’t pose a problem. Take this site for example, a few pictures and a little text that stitch together what I hope will be an easy enough story for you to follow. When you’re hoping to see the inside of a suite, a floorpan at least to determine which living space will suit your young family, sight unseen, it’s decidedly more difficult than it seems.
